For one of my classes we had to make a magazine for

something that we were interested in.

Well, I went with a craft / diy magazine

because that's what I love and those

are the blogs that I read.

Since this was for my class, not a lot of the images are mine,

some of the articles are not mine, and the peoples names are not real.

the buckeye diaries

hi everyone!

i haven't been on here because sara doesn't trust me.

maybe it's because i walk on her computer when 

it's sitting on the bed and break off keys.

i'm just trying to sit on her lap and cuddle.

can't a man just have some cuddle time?

hmph.

anyways, here's what i did today.. 

i might have a love for the grass.

you see that bottom right picture?

i just made you look at my butt!

bedroom wall makeover

Remember this wall?

And that shelf?

Well it's no longer there..

the shelf that is.

The entire wall has been redone

with frames and such.

Can't wait to show you soon what it looks like!

Thanksgiving

Tomorrow's the big day.

I spend the morning / early afternoon at my uncles

for a big lunch.

After that we usually come home and nap

before heading out to my aunt and uncles

for a turkey sandwich dinner.

It's the perfect day with family.

I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving

with your families or whoever you spend it with!

I will be gone all day tomorrow and Friday.

When asked about my favorite Holiday tradition

this is what I had to say.. 

My favorite Holiday tradition is shopping the day after Thanksgiving.

I was born in March of '89 and my mom started taking me my first Thanksgiving.

It's a big event for us, not only is it my mom and I, 

it's also my both of my aunts and a couple of one of their boys. 

We sit down on Thanksgiving, plan where we're going to start out the next day, 

what time, and what needs bought before the morning deals run out.

It's truly my favorite day of the year.

I thought I wasn't going to go this year because of not having money, 

but of course my mom played the guilt trip and said that she thought

this was something we'd do forever together.

I think it is something we'll do always, no matter where I move to next year. 

It's always going to be our thing and I hope that someday, if I have kids, 

that I'll start that tradition with them like my mom did with me.

My Craft Area

Just like everyone else,

I thought I'd show off my little craft area.

And when I say little, I mean it.

I decided to not use my bedroom closet as a closet, 

and instead I changed it into a little crafting area.

Small and filled to the brim with odds and ends!

I keep most of my storage above my desk,

it helps to keep things out of the way.

God forbid that shelf break!

Or someone have to get into the attic,

my closet is the entrance to get up there.

I don't think you can ever have enough paint brushes!

Music is definitely something that

helps me become more creative.

Yes, that is a storage container under my desk.

No, I cannot put my legs under it.

Uncomfortable to sit?

Absolutely.

Worth it?

Definitely.

Everything for my computer and

other electronics sits in this cube. 

Storage boxes stacked on top of each other,

along with my printer sitting on top.

All along side with my New Moon

calendar from my cousins..

I'm in love with this little mail drop off box.

I got it at Hobby Lobby months ago for $1

and it's probably 4 lbs.

I always keep lipgloss, hair clips, and a nail file in that little dish.

I think it's essential for hours of sitting there working on things.

I keep all of my flowers in this box.

They're all separated according to size. 

I keep them in here until there's an order

and I know what I need to attach them to.

Calphalon Warehouse Sale: What I Got

As you know,

Friday - Monday (today)

was the Calphalon Warehouse Sale.

Here's what I got:

Two years ago I got all of the frying pans,

so this time I picked up all of the cooking pans that I'd need.

Umm.. Utensil heaven..

I mean check out that pizza cutter with the bent handle.

And everyone got a free utensil if they brought back their cart..

A cart was your access into the building.

And by the way, there was a huge line.

Heavy duty bakeware.

Not kidding, it's heavy.

All of this total $125
