It's amazing how fast a year has gone. You'll be home hopefully at the end of June and we can't wait to welcome you back. Your girls cannot wait to have you home.. and you're even thinking of coming to the opening night showing of Eclipse. What a man you are to brave the crowd just to spend some time with your girls.. we're hoping you're home for the pandemonium. Stay safe, make it home safely and we'll see you in a couple months! We love you!
Comments are now open to everyone! You don't have to have a Google account to leave a comment now. So if you see something that you like, leave a comment and let me know! :)
Now, one more assignment left and then I'm free for one week. School is flying by, I can't believe I graduate in the Fall of 2011. Yessss! :)
So this is my final day for classes and then I have a week break until they start up again. Final weekend means final projects and usually they seem to get harder, but this time was different. I don't know if it felt easier because it's classes that I like or what. In my typography class I have to create a font. Well.. here's how it came about:
I first had make sketches on how my fonts would look and why I would use these fonts..
Then after many reviews from classmates and the instructor we had to come up with a final design of one of the following fonts we drew. I ended up making a colored copy of what I would like it to look like and a completely black font incase we weren't able to use color.
Honestly, what a movie. I did not expect it to be as good as it was.. and the ending, oh my. I didn't expect the ending at all. I'm sure some of you haven't seen the movie yet, so I won't say what happens. Just know it won't be what you expect, unless you've already been told. I think that HannahRosk wrote an amazing review about the movie. So definitely read it here. And if you haven't seen it already, here's a preview of the movie: P.S. His face is messed up like that for about half of the movie and then the rest you can enjoy how great he looks. :)
And lastly, check out the movie. You'll most likely be in love and then in tears.
This quarter that is! Only a week left.. I'll be done next Saturday! :) And since it's coming to an end that means the big projects are coming on. I bet you didn't know that companies had guidelines on their logos did you? Like how the colors can't be used a certain way. It's not like you care about it, but here's mine for my fake company, Sweet Treats.
I must say this class has taught me so many things about marketing for a business. Everything from building a business' logo to placing it on products that the company would either sell or produce for their own use. It's all of these little things that I wouldn't normally think of when having a business, but the fact is these things are just as important to have as having anything else. There's also that little thing called a Corporate Standards Manual that is quite tricky. And I'm lucky enough to have the chance to make one, which I'll post later tonight after I've completed it and turned it in.
Since New Moon is coming out on DVD in 6 minutes I figured I better post about my project for class. We had to re-create a DVD cover and disc for a movie.. and we could only use text. So, here it is:
That's right.. I'm 21 now! :) On March 12th I turned 21. I just realized now that the numbers are just switched around. I've been saving up all of my birthday money for an iPhone.. which I plan to get in the near future. Anyways, here's a couple pictures from my birthday night:
Buckeye brought me my card.. :) It also included a new mint lipgloss to replace the one he decided he needed to sneak out of my purse and chew up to have minty breath a couple weeks before.
